hi, i'm kylie! I am not a very serious person, a strong enneagram 4, and i'd take genuine human connection over stuffy, surface level conversation anyday- same goes for the photos i take! i like to hang out with the intention of making memories rather than showing up to your backyard, date night spot, or wedding venue with the end product in mind. Though my approach hasn't always been this way, my love for photographs has been pretty consistent. 

growing up, i always found an excuse to look through my family's photo albums. the albums felt like a warm, safe embrace of memories that i, too often, had forgotten about. I don't have the best memory, so i've relied on photos my whole life to jog my mind of the times I'd never want to forget. i'd like to think that i began photography because of this realization- so that you may never forget either. 

Things that make my heart happy:
When a lyric resonates with my life (recently loving role model and djo's music), traveling to a new place, my mini dachshund named penny, my cats named Memphis + Jolene, eating Sunday lunch with my family, my AMAZING husband who doubles as my second shooter occasionally, looking through old photos, church on sunday morning, and any small act of kindness.
